I am amazing at Halloween. I’m usually not one to brag but its just the truth. Ask anyone.

98.3% of boys are pretty lame about Halloween. (Excluding this guy who is awesome at it):

As a act of public service I’ve assembled a list of pretty easy last minute costumes that follow Rachel’s Rules of Order (for Halloween)

1. No face paint: girls don’t want to make out with facepaint (I realize my male specimen above breaks this rule.. interpret as you wish)

2. No masks: they are not funny. they are scary.

3. Don’t try to be intellectual. Its Halloween not a MENSA workout.

So here are some ideas:

If you are seriously lazy and plan to be seriously drunk:

Toga: sheet

If you want girls to swoon:

John Dilinger: pinstripe suit and big fake gun

James Bond: tuxedo, fake gun, slicked back hair

Patrick Bateman: wear a nice suit, carry an axe

Tony Montana: huge gun, pin strips, white shirt unbuttoned, huge chain.

Jason Bourne: black shirt, black jacket, black jeans. JUST ACT BAD ASS.

If you want to be a little funny:
Napoleon Dynamite: old brown suit, glasses, wig OR salvation army wolf tee, snow boots, wig
Ace ventura: hair standing up, white wife beater, black pants, Hawaiian shirt

Marty McFly: poofy vest, jean jacket, tennis shoes

Harry Potter: glasses, shirt, tie, sweater, magic wand

If you want to be a little unique:

Kurt Russell Escape from New York: black tank top, eye patch

Ferris Bueller: white tee, sweater vest, hair puffed up

Tyler Durden: spiky hair, fake gash on your face, leather jacket, colorful t shirt.

Neo: dark glasses, jacket buttoned all the way up, black pants

How can you help Saudi women?

Over the past few months we’ve been covering the Saudi #women2drive movement and this week we’ve shared some horrible news about human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia. People are asking us- “How can we help?” We believe getting the word out and making people aware that these human rights abuses are real and serious, is the first step to achieving change. Here’s what you can do:

1. Share stories and news about human rights abuses (in this case those pertaining to women in Saudi Arabia) on your Facebook and Twitter. Did you know the average Facebook user (there are over 800 million world wide) has 130 friends? That means each time you share a bit of news it has the potential to go viral. Here are some trusted sources for news about human rights in Saudi Arabia that you can share:

2. Create a video PSA to share with your friends and followers educating them about this issue:
